Don’t miss Day 2 of Occupy the Film Festival!

On Sunday, September 16, at 7:30 pm, our program takes a broader view of the economic system and the underlying issues that gave rise to the Occupy Wall Street movement. We are extremely proud to host the New York City premiere of We’re Not Broke, a brilliant film that tells us exactly how corporations have hidden a trillion dollars overseas while their politicians claim, “We’re broke” and slash public budgets.

Listen to the WBAI radio broadcast with Directors Victoria Bruce and Karin Hayes.

The feature will be followed by an exclusive question-and-answer session with the filmmakers and experts from the film and will be preceded by Occupy Economics, a short film about the University of Massachusetts economists who drafted a pledge in support of OWS, and Default: The Student Loan Documentary, a must-see film for anyone struggling with this and other forms of vicious and paralyzing debt.
